Our Founder and Chairman, Nick Crasner, a widely recognised Emerging Markets M&A banker with deep knowledge of the Financial Institutions sector, was scheduled to speak at the now postponed AFSIC – Investing in Africa event in May 2020. AFSIC is the largest annual African investment conference taking place outside of Africa, and is attended by industry leaders, investors, and deal makers active on the continent.
Nick was chosen as part of the the ‘Risk and Reward – How attractive are Africa’s insurance companies to investors?’ panel, alongside Dorothy Maseke from ICEA Lion Group, Jérôme Katz from MUA Mauritius & East Africa and Adewale Adewusi from African Reinsurance Corporation. Nick looks forward to joining these industry experts on the panel at the rescheduled conference.
Crasner Capital remains committed to AFSIC, despite the recent decision to reschedule the event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we will be an active participant of and contributor to the AFSIC Event and Meeting App and Investment Dashboard when they are launched shortly. We look forward to connecting with industry contacts, old and new, to supporting the conference and deepening our focus on investment into Africa.
Special thanks to Emma Rynn and her team for their tireless work on this event.
